  The customer service department at this store is a joke. The workers answer the phone, laughing after they have paying customers waiting on the phone. They call you silly because they think you can’t hear them. Very unprofessional. I suggest not coming here and spending your hard earned money because they don’t care about customers

  I have been really limiting my time at this particular Safeway because I'm tired of the drug scene, and constant police over here. I have gone a handful of times, spread out, and I am reminded recently why I stopped visiting this Safeway. The last time I went I was walking with my kids down the frozen food aisle and my 10 year old son slipped on some water on the floor, in front of the freezers, and hit his ankle on the freezer. I saw there was condensation all up and down the freezer doors, and that appeared to be why there was water pooled in front of the freezer. I brought it to the attention of the cashiers at self checkout who were on it right away. I would suggest management make sure something like this never happens again, as there could be serious injury. If people are cool with constant police, employees chasing drug addicts out and addicts who smell really bad at times walking around the store then this is the place for you. Most of the employees are nice. However, I've noticed when I complain to corporate about something, like their self checkout machines not taking change, or their fruit being rotten and overpriced often, nothing changes. And word around is the management doesn't really care. So I'd rather spend my $ elsewhere.

  I came to the safeway at 196th and hwy 99 for dinner at 4:45pm on a Saturday. To my surprise there hot food selection looked as if they gave up on it 3 hours prior I could see the bottom of every pan and what was available looked dry and old most definitely borderline expired and the fried chicken didn't look crispy anymore. I asked if there was any more baked chicken being prepared and she said "nope that's all there is". I just hope you don't make anyone sick and good luck if you choose to eat.

  This is my preferred grocery store, it's rarely crowded and the staff is always helpful.

  It's your normal Safeway. Homeless camped around the store and parking lot, normal for Lynnwood.
