- IMInigo MontoyaJun 5, 20262.0So, this stew isn't bad but whatever this is it is NOT kokkinisto. The name literally means "red stew" because of the tomato sauce in it. If you don't believe me, search for "kokkinisto" online and tell me if it looks at all like whatever this is. Yeah it tastes good like 3.5/5 but it's pretty disappointing because I came here JUST for this stew which is supposed to be beef and red sauce. They have some unique Greek dishes like Moussaka. I didn't try the Moussaka. It's probably lasagna or something. The prices also don't match what's on the menu. I got charged $26 for something that's listed on the menu at $20. The dude unapologetically just told me the price changed. I would not recommend this place. Not very authentic. The kokkinisto beef stew is absolutely not what it is advertised to be, it's just a random beef stew. Pretty disappointing considering the reviews for this place were so high. Sadly several places in Lynnwood have been like this. Maybe a Greek family owned it once but have since sold it.
