  It said when there is only one cashier there manager Jeremy is standing around just talk to people 20 people are lined up to be checked and self check is backed the say way you need better employees and manager

  Get ready for Dynamic Prices. They just installed E-Price tags and I noticed prices went up again on staples like milk and bread. This Safeway in lakewood is typically more expensive than the local fred Meyer, Walmart, and Winco. Only Shop here for convenience. Also, watch out for the "everyones-a-criminal" gates at the entrance. (As if said criminal couldn't jump over the thing). They dont open immediately when walking up to them. They fail to detect shoping carts fast enough. But if you just push through, they'll open up.

  I have had the pleasure of going through Amy‘s line several times through the years and I was in last Saturday and the lines are extremely long but she does an amazing job keeping the lines moving with a positive attitude and she is also very helpful about explaining how all the final discounts are on the receipt. She also pointed out to me and helped educate me about my rewards that I had several points that I was able to use at your gas station today people like her with her pleasant attitude. On another positive note, she always bags my groceries with complete care. Keep me coming back here.

  Not letting people DoorDash at self check out is ridiculous. There needs to be a big sign up or something so people can know before getting to the self checkout

  Normally I wouldn’t make a review however the cashier Tamara was unprofessional enough to warrant it. While I was checking out another employee came to help her with bagging, the other employee was clearly disabled but she was making sure she was saying hi to everybody. Tamara was visibly annoyed that she was helping and talking to everybody so another cashier called her over to help. Both Tamara and I looked over while she walked away so I know she saw her leave the end of the conveyor. As she was ringing up my groceries she was placing them on the second half of the conveyor belt and I assumed she doing it for a reason so I did not say anything about it until my groceries started getting crushed and rolled over each other and she proceeded to say “oh i didn’t even notice she walked away” and asked me if i wanted a bag as she was about to start ringing up the customer behind me so I just said no and left. Now I’m not mad about the bag situation or my chips getting crushed, I’m upset about the way that she was clearly annoyed enough that the disabled employee came to help her that she wasn’t paying attention to anything else
