  We were out doing some running around and my kids boyfriend was like I had a guy tell me about this place that does smoked turkey legs and fish and chips. Boy let me tell you those turkey legs are fire and the fish and chips was amazing great place to eat and the stuff was super friendly and welcoming.

  Birthday Dinner Meal was Fabulous!! Our hostess/ Server Aiden was a delight!! She's engaging and a student artist at college!! Shrimp and grits is a comfort food must!! Hopefully they will have some hush puppies on the menu soon!!

  Good menu, first time there I had to check them out. Catch fish, Lemon now! Grape cool aid can you dig it? The only problem I had with this place ( now this is my observation only, I could taste the grease. )In my mind it means filter or change regularly. I'll check them out again and see if I were mistaken.

  The best Lemonade/Tea combo I have ever had in the U.S. Best Southern "Soul Spot" in Lakewood, WA. I have never eaten food this good in Lakewood that reminded me of soul food I had living down south in Texas and Louisiana. Hannah was so vibrant and polite, she explained the menu very well l, that matched the food we got to a "T". We had the "Stuffed Turkey Leg", it was stuffed with greens, delicious Mac' Cheese, and Jambalaya (which tasted more like "dirty rice". We also tried the Fried Catfish and Crinkle fries. They were nice and crispy, plus seasoned perfectly. If you need a place to come after church, or any time you crave soul food that will soothe your soul, this is the place for you. We paid $50.00 dollars for a meal that could've satisfied four people's appetites, but their was only two of us. This a "Must Try" spot in Lakewood/Tacoma, WA.

  I like to support small businesses. This is not what you want! The price is too high for the quality of food I received. I ordered the hot wings with fries and lemonade. No free refills; the lemonade ran out, and they replaced it with water. The hot wings were cooked with feathers still on. So I paid 24.00 for fries and a plate of grease. I will never go back, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. My co-worker recommended this place. He made up for the bad service by paying for my meal and apologized.
