- MBMichael Bryant4 days ago5.0This Safeway is a nice one, they all have lots of parking, wheel chair accessible, mostly clean but this Safeway, I noticed has happy employees. Most people, including myself doesn't care fore food shopping but having happy employees makes for a more enjoyable trip to the store, it just makes for a better day. That and happy employees means good managing.

Everything seems to be a bit higher priced here, but they do usually have the hard to find flavors and/or new products in stock. I usually shop the ads to shop here or to search for something specific that I can't seem to find anywhere else. It seems to usually be a bit crowded, but they do seem to move the lines quickly. Staff has usually been friendly and helpful. I do wish the disability parking spots were the ones next to the doors and the cart return spots were a bit more functionally spaced, but overall it's a solid back up grocery store choice.

In the last two months I've had several orders several hours late, one order delayed until the next day after telling me they would deliver by midnight without an update, then today a basic 5-9pm delivery order placed in the early morning is "suddenly" unable to be delivered by mid afternoon without explanation. I have never had such consistently bad experience from a grocery chain than should seemingly depend on repeat customers and to spontaneously cancel delivery order windows without explanation? That shatters confidence even further. I'll be taking time off of work to grocery shop on my own from now on vs putting my trust in that location as the only delivery fulfillment option. 😔
