  The owner is wonderful—friendly, welcoming, and clearly passionate about her food. She happily offered free samples of everything. Although, we did not take her up on the offer, we ordered the meatball stroganoff freezer meal. I haven’t had stroganoff in quite some time, so I was excited to try it. I thought it was a great value, with a surprising amount of meatballs—virtually every bite had a meatball or part of one, right down to the last few bites—except while I was cleaning up the last of the delicious mashed potatoes. The stroganoff flavor was solid, though it was slightly missing something for my palate. That said, I’d absolutely return to try more dishes. I love seeing small businesses survive and thrive in this economy, and this is one I truly hope does.

  Food was tasty, hot, reasonably priced, and served up immediately. Menu consists of various home style ragout type dishes ladled over rice or mashed potatoes with a bread roll to sop up the sauce and bag salad - reminded me of moms Instapot meals. Buffalo blue cheese chicken and the stroganoff were both hearty. Portions were sufficient. Service was friendly. Drinks were choice of canned soda. Note - this is a takeaway spot, no indoor seating, one picnic table. Great for grab and go if you are staying at marina or waiting in line for the ferry. They offered samples of the menu selections so you know what you are getting before you order. Brilliant low-overhead business model for this location.

  Daphne is amazing. The food was ready super quickly. Got the cottage pie, which was classic and tasty. She gave us free samples. Can’t wait to come back!

  The Saucy Sailor catered a wedding where we were shooting photos and video and they were amazing! Every guest really liked the unique experience and, as a vendor, I was appreciative for something that wasn't your traditional wedding fare. And on top of that they were super friendly and loved explaining all the different dishes available. I would highly recommend them if you're looking to cater an event or wedding!

  Purchased two meals and both were fantastic! They also offer family style containers to take home for later. Great idea! The food was fantastic! Customer service was also excellent! Highly recommend!
