- JLJohn LimAug 7, 20261.0I came in on a Friday around 8:05pm with my child who had to use the restroom. Employees stated the bathrooms may be closed at 8pm but we could check. We went and saw a lady waiting outside of the restrooms waiting for someone to finish. She said the restrooms were closed. I said could my child not just quickly use it? She said no they are closed and has been waiting 20 minutes for the individual in the stall. For someone who personally has worked for Safeway for 8 years and ended as a supervisor, the lack of empathy and rudeness was beyond anything I would think I would ever experience at Safeway. Luckily my son was able to hold it to run to the front of the store and go to REI next door. I will never be coming back.
