The price you see is not the price at checkout, this isn't the only safeway that is doing this, this is systemic theft and the corporation is banking on people not noticing. If this happens to you, file a complaint with the Attorney General, because what they are doing is illegal and the more people that file complaints with the AG, the more likely something will be done.

- BBBrowne BearMay 26, 20265.0We flew into Seattle and planned to drive Highway 101 all the way down the coast through Oregon in a rental car. To save a little money while traveling, we usually stop at a grocery store early in the trip and stock up on snacks, sandwiches, soda, beer, and other things to eat along the way. This was the first store we came across, so we decided to pull in. Right away the place felt safe, clean, and well organized. Honestly, I was expecting the prices to be outrageous considering the area, but they were actually fairly reasonable for Washington standards, at least from what we could tell. Back home we definitely pay less, but I understand prices tend to run a bit higher in this region. I also knew the area is very involved in the whole green movement, and I was curious what that experience would be like while shopping there. Surprisingly, it was not pushed in your face at all. In fact, unless you were specifically looking for it, you probably would not even notice, which I personally appreciated. The shelves were well stocked, the employees and customers all seemed friendly, and we found everything we needed without any issues. Overall, it was a very pleasant stop and exactly what we hoped for at the start of a long coastal road trip. If we were back in the area again, we would definitely return to this location.
