  I’ve only been here a few times, and I enjoyed my experience each time. It’s a pretty casual place. I also once got a really fun cocktail here that was like an adult capri sun.

  ***UPDATE*** The owner's public response here is incredibly immature and factually incorrect. I have eaten at this restaurant in the past and enjoyed the food immensely, which is exactly why this sudden rigidity and lack of dietary accessibility is so disappointing. Claiming I rated them "without giving them a try" is just plain false. Furthermore, copy-pasting a defensive, private email that accuses a customer of "demanding" basic menu clarity—simply asking for plain protein without sugar or heavy carbs—tells you everything you need to know about their management style. It is perfectly fine if you don't want my business, but please know that several of my coworkers who work just a block away are equally appalled by this hostile attitude and will not be returning either. _____ Disappointing experience for diners with dietary restrictions. I was looking forward to going here for lunch, but unfortunately, their menu structure and management policies are not friendly to anyone tracking their blood sugar or managing a condition like diabetes. I wanted a simple, low-carb order: plain, unsauced chicken tenders with a side of ranch. However, their menu makes this impossible. The plain tenders only come paired with heavy carb sides (fries/tots). If you want the "tenders only" option to avoid the carbs, the restaurant forces you to have them tossed in one of their house sauces, which can carry hidden sugars. When I reached out privately to share constructive feedback about offering a simple, standalone "plain tenders" option for accessibility, management sent back a highly defensive response. They explicitly stated they have a strict "no modifications or substitutions" policy, accused me of "demanding" things from staff, when I was simply trying to understand, and told me I should disclose my dietary restrictions to the staff beforehand if I want a better experience. Asking for plain protein without sauce or fries isn't "creating a new menu," it's a basic dietary request. If you have specific glycemic, diabetic, or low-carb needs, be aware that this establishment will not accommodate simple adjustments to separate protein from sugars and carbs. I will be taking my business to places that understand basic hospitality and dietary accessibility.

  that chicken place was the highlight of our trip, best food we had while we visited. the couple that owns the shop were so friendly and helpful. food was fresh, delicious, and generous portions. the nashville and bbq chicken sandwich were phenomenal! tots and fries were well seasoned but tots won us over with a side of their spicy garlic parm sauce. thank you so much for your hospitality, we felt right at home chatting with yall. definitely a must stop place!
