  These pictures are not even from this store. I have seen rats the size of cats running out of this store through parking lot. Last week, an older white lady, a Mexican younger girl and boy cashiers, all acted like I was stealing as me and my 5 year old shopped. They stopped self checkout with cameras showing me scan all items, three times. We spent over $100 and got cash back and these 3 cashiers standing there gossiping to customers, saying I was stealing. I get me and my daughters precriptions at Safeway. One of my meds alone is 1,000 a month and I take 6 meds. Safeway, all stores and affaliates have forever lost my last 30 years of business solely on the misconduct of this store. They should not be profiling based on race or if people like me and my daughter appear poor. The way the employees acted makes me think they themseleves are stealing from this store and they are attempting to appear on camera and to the public that they are lookingfor theft. If I were stealing they would have called 911. I told the manager cashier we would not shop Safeway anymore to which all 3 laughed and she shrugged. Unless you look like Trump and are a million years old, if you shop here, you will be stalked by employees, not greeted, not assisted, and they will stop their cameras and assume you are stealing. When they cannot prove that, they will mock you and not care if you return because they assume the worst of people and it shows.

  I don't think I've ever experienced more rules surrounding a public bathroom. As I was shopping, I needed to use the restroom urgently, and apparently the bathrooms don't open until 9:00. It was 8:55. When I went back to the bathrooms it appeared that one was in use and the other was open so I asked for the code and was told the bathrooms don't open until 9. So when then approached and said he was on his way to clean them up and open them. Then I was told that the bathrooms aren't even cleaned until the morning, which honestly should have got me out of there except that I was cramping. Standing near the bathrooms. I watched a pregnant woman walk in and walk out before 9:00 a.m. having used the restroom, I'm assuming she works there since she had the bathroom code but was not wearing clothing that indicated she was an employee. When 9:00 hit I had to be escorted back to the bathroom and have it opened for me. It still had not been cleaned at this point. But I was left in there to do my best to make myself feel comfortable to use the restroom. 10 minutes later someone is knocking on the door telling me that there is a long line and they have a 5-minute limit to how long you can be in the bathroom. This is not the only restroom in the store, there are two. When I exited the restroom there were indeed three people waiting, and the other restroom said it was vacant with no out of order sign.

  Not a fan of Safeway after they inexplicably suspended my shoppers account and wouldn’t give me the discounts. Customer service doesn’t even know why my account would be suspended. I got it reactivated and canceled it immediately. Seriously, what’s at stake here with a shoppers card account that it would ever need to be suspended? Nothing. Bye girl.
