I have never encountered such appalling customer service as I did with Lily at Safeway. She was incredibly rude, dismissive, and made me feel completely unwelcome. Safeway should not have someone like this representing their store—this was unacceptable.

I do not appreciate a grocery store that treats their customers like criminals. The security gates are obtrusive, and while I was shopping, the wheels for my cart locked up and required someone to release the wheels. That is completely absurd.

Please SAFEWAY! Please, hear me out. Putting more self check out and removing the old cash registers, can save so much money. More costumers are able to just come in and buy their two items and get out quicker. I unfortunately chose to check out at the register because the one line to the self check out was so hectic, that I chose not to fight with others on who got there first. Yet, regret set in as i waited in line with 3 people in front of me, i watched the check out line clear more than 15 groups of people. 👀 kinda annoying. Everything here in the front is so clustered together that when the rush hits, so does claustrofobia. By ridding of the lines of registers you'll open up more space and safeway can be my favorite place in the world!

If you are going to lock up items, fix the call buttons when they break; it's been at least a week. I asked for someone to unlock it. It goes over the PA but then nobody follows through. I stood around for 10 minutes. This is costing your business money. Store is understaffed.

So once again you force me to go through checkout with a full cart. I'm not allowed to use self-checkout. With $350 worth of groceries after discounts 400 before the discounts. And what happens? I specifically tell your checker, please keep these how I have them bundled up. And she looked confused and just said oh okay. And what happens? They don't get the items right in the same bags. They put heavy potatoes on top of pre-cut pineapple so it was squishing the container. They put heavy items on top of soft cheeses. They were putting cold and dry goods together. I deeply resent that you take my money and I don't have a good experience at the front end. I'm not allowed to go through the check stand I need to go through. I spent another 7 minutes rebagging my groceries after going through 8 minutes in the checkout lane. Please train your people better! Please train them how to bad groceries. Please train them how to listen. Keep more than one checkout lane open. Let someone who has a full car to groceries that wants to ring up their own groceries let them do that. What if I have disabilities I don't want to have to disclose to you? And you weren't accommodating with me? I am completely dissatisfied with your customer service all across the board at the last three different places I shopped at. Once again you're taking our money and you don't care about our experience because this keeps happening. I deeply resent that I have to rebag my own groceries after asking nicely for them to do it a certain way to begin with. And I've been told before just ask us we'll accommodate you. AND YOU DO NOT. I look forward to hearing from someone about this. If I've been doing this for 7 years and I can bag better than your truck checkers who do this every single day, What are you doing as a company? You're failing in your management and in your training. And it has been happening for a year. And I'm finally getting vocal and leaving one star reviews so that you get the idea. Because when I report it to your managers nothing happens. The way I was treated today you clearly from a corporate standpoint do not respect your customers. And you are making money off of us. Please do more so that we have better experiences inside your store. Thank you.
