I can't remember the last time I've been to an Outback Steakhouse. It's probably been years. But this time we were in the area and my boyfriend really wanted to eat at Outback. So we came here for dinner. First, we shared the Blooming Onion. It was very good, the onion pieces were tasty, golden, and crispy. You can't really go wrong with a fried onion variation. I ordered the Toowoomba Salmon, but I asked to remove the shrimp on top. And for my sides I got a Baked Sweet Potato and a Veggie Salad. My entree was fantastic, like every single part. I wish I did have a bigger Salmon piece but it makes sense that it's normally eaten together with shrimp. It came a couple of moments later separate from when my dish first arrived, but the sauce was the star of the show. It was so delicious and creamy. The baked Sweet Potato had cinnamon and butter with it on top too, it was perfect. I have no complaints at all with my dish, just that I wish the salmon was larger. Or it would be nice to have an option for the Toowoomba Salmon to be just salmon. My boyfriend ordered the New York Strip , and in his own words: it was not a good steak. It did have a nice crust, but the steak was too chewy. He ordered medium rare but there were some pieces that were too chewy to be medium rare. The steak lacked consistency. Flavor was okay, but disappointing for the main entree. It's disappointing knowing we could've made a better steak at home instead of coming here. And it's disappointing that as a steakhouse, they fell short in their steak dinner. Service was good, our server took care of us. When we walked in we were seated immediately, there's plenty of tables and seating options inside. We would be willing to come back again, but we would not order the steak or recommend it.

The burger was a lost item from a hockey game. I know because one of the team came and claimed it after my first attempted bite. Never again, you Australian wannabes, never again.

I came in with my two kids under 3 tonight. Our server Jazzy was incredibly friendly, attentive, and knew how to help. She made the experience very fun for my nearly 3 year old son, and the Ribeye was great as well. It’s tough taking two littles out as a single dad sometimes, but with great servers like Jazzy, it was made possible!

An odd experience. Walking in was a bit awkward with no greeters available. Two of the servers saw us but didn't acknowledge us. Finally one did and sat us in a booth. The food took 20 to 30 minutes. We ordered a tomahawk and a steak with chicken. The tomahawk bone, which is usually long and sticks out, was cut off. The taste was okay. The other order, the steak, was dry and very chewy. It was hard to chew and swallow. Ended up giving up on it. The food was subpar compared to the type of quality this restaurant is supposed to have. We were approached only once for refills. I would have a hard time coming back again and spend more than 100 for a meal for two.
