  We drove 2 hours out of way to ride the gondola and eat at the restaurant based on the reviews. Huge waste of time. We arrived at restaurant at 11:00 in mid September. This was right after they went from open all week to only open Friday to Sunday. With being a party of two we had to wait all the while groups of 4 were immediately seated. We went to order only to be told multiple items were not available on the menu. Ended up getting the hamburger. For $23 the hamburger patty was maybe an 1/8 thick. Not worth price.

  Very busy when we visited. Found out we couldn't eat here with our dog (outside weather was bad). However we could place an order to go and take it down to the gondola house to eat and get an adult beverage AND have our dog inside.

  Long waits. Think 2 hours. For two people. When the restaurant is almost entirely empty. There are more empty tables than full. Also. The hostess was near tears she was so overwhelmed and begged an older heavy man to help who stood there and did nothing. She gave up and did everything herself. The older man just stood in a predatory way waiting for people to sign checks then refused to help clear tables. Not a good look. I don’t know who he is but he did not give me a good impression

  ⭐️ Very disappointing experience Unfortunately, our lunch experience at The Summit was very disappointing. The server’s attitude was rude and unwelcoming. After we were seated at a table by the staff, he insisted on moving us to another table, repeatedly telling us that our original table was “too small” for us. When we tried to provide our credit card in advance for the final check, he refused it in a very rude manner. The food was also extremely disappointing. When we ordered burgers, we were not even asked how we wanted them cooked—no question about rare, medium, or well-done. The burgers tasted like they had been cooked hours earlier, were cold, dry, and clearly not freshly prepared. They seemed to have simply been reheated, and even that was not done properly. Overall, both the service and food quality were far below what we expected from a restaurant at Crystal Mountain. Definitely not an experience we would recommend.

  I’m extremely disappointed with the experience we had here\.waiter, **Jonah**, who may have also been the manager, was incredibly unfriendly, rude, and difficult to deal with\. I’ve been a season pass holder for almost a decade and have never experienced this kind of treatment here before\. What was supposed to be a special celebration for my mom’s birthday was completely ruined by his attitude and the way he treated us\. After being a loyal customer for so many years, I expected much better\. Unfortunately, this experience left such a bad impression that I would not come back to this restaurant\.
