Join the regulars at this Edmonds neighborhood institution with its vaulted ceilings, comfortable bar and beautifully renovated Komen Room. Local goes beyond food. With a farm-fresh and locally grown philosophy, Scott's menu offers fresh, local produce, meats and even desserts. Also available are local spirits, wine and beer.
Food looked promising by just looking at the menu. Everything fell apart after ordering.
Cooked food was being blasted under heating lamps as they were being prepared. By the time they came to our table everything was lukewarm at best. Overly salty and the mashed potatoes had a turned dry from waiting under the lamp too long.
One of our orders was the 3 course meal and a kids meal that came with a sundae at the end. We never got the dessert for either of those and when it was time to pay we reminded our server of we can just take them to go. She basically never came back and after waiting an additional 10 minutes after ALREADY PAYING for our dessert we just cut our losses and walked out.
First time and definitely the last time we’ll be back.

Enjoyed lunch with friends. Great selection. Soups, salads, pasras, small plates, mains. Something for everyone. Reasonable prices.

Tom and Elena’s service was some of the best I have experienced. We had a big group on a busy night and they were so hospitable us. We highly recommend Scott’s for big groups as this restaurant will take care of you so well.

Fries were inedible, fish n chips was soggy and not hot. Beer was warm. Took 10 minutes to get water after asking 3 times. Went to bar to get second beer cause server was not around and bar said no, order from your server . Pretty sad dinner. Will not go back.

Because I had just been to Home Depot, I was hungry the way a person is hungry after an hour among the caulks and the lumber, which is to say, deserving. My phone recommended Scott's Bar & Grill. The reviews were good, and anyway I was in the mood for traditional American fare, a phrase that, like the American Dream, promises everything and specifies nothing.
Inside, the place was lively. The crowd ran middle-aged and up, and white, which is my demographic exactly, so understand that I describe it the way one describes a family reunion. The service was warm. Everyone seemed genuinely glad I had come. In America we are very good at the welcome; it is the follow-through that gets us.
I ordered the almond-crusted scallops, "almond-crusted" being the sort of phrase that suggests ambition in the kitchen. A person with ideas. The plate arrived almost immediately, and here I will observe that in a restaurant, speed is not always efficiency. Sometimes it is confession.
There were five, maybe six large scallops, each sealed inside an almond shell cooked past crispness, past flavor, into a kind of beige integrity. In the center sat a generous dollop of mashed potatoes that tasted the way instant potatoes taste, which is to say like the memory of a potato, faithfully preserved, entirely gone. Nothing on the plate insisted on itself. Nothing was anything in particular.
I could not finish. This felt American too, somehow: the abundance, the good cheer, the leaving of half of everything behind. I paid, I tipped, I thanked them, and they told me to come again, and they meant it. That is the strange sweetness of a place like Scott's. Everyone was so kind, and no one had noticed the food.
