This was our first Mothers Day meal at Scott’s. We have been celebrating events at this restaurant for years. We have no complaints on either food or service. Today was an exception. First let me be clear that our server, Alana Rose was awesome! Our complaint (all 3 of us) was with how long it took to be served our meals (all off the preset Mother’s Day Brunch menu. We were seated at 11:45. Our meals were served at 1:05 pm. The eggs were completely over cooked on the Benedict and the prime rib hash. The “hash” was just a meager amount of chopped beef on top of brunch potatoes. So disappointing ! We cancelled our order for a second delicious mocktail and took our dessert to go. The food experience was so sub par. Bummer Scott’s

Haven't been here in decades and unfortunately I won't be returning soon. Came for my birthday and was less than average. Started with blue cheese salad which sounded great, although a huge portion it was your average underdressed Caesar salad with a huge amount of egg, almonds and blue cheese crumble. Note- should be blue cheese dressing as salad was dry and HALF the size. Prime rib looked great but was so tough I could not chew so sent it back. Replaced with chicken Dijon which was a panko butterfly chicken breast (over cooked), clump of cold mashed potatoes and Brussels sprouts which were barely cooked. Came with a side of dijonnaise as if was chicken nuggets, was so odd. Note- ditch the dijonnaise and add to chicken before breading. The special shrimp and crab fettuccine was very hot (appreciated) nice and creamy, big jumbo shrimp. The crab meat got lost in the dish as you stirred it, scallops would have been better. The BEST item was the free bread, it was fantastic, fresh, moist and warm with slight crust. The server Danielle was attentive and accommodating without being too much although a refill on soda and water would have been nice. The bar was very busy and full for happy hour and restaurant was almost empty at 6pm for dinner service on a Wednesday. No manager contact despite sending food back and slow business.

Worst place in Washington thus far. I will say, whoever the cook was working by himself; cooking, microwaving, and plating was the man. They must have been short staff or something, because plates were getting pushed out by one guy and servers we’re just standing there watching him. And even though they were standing there watching him, there were still plates being left there for 10 to 20 minutes under the lamps (we had nothing else to do but watch because our food took an hour). Craziest part (to me) was the fact that they were not busy. Besides us there were 3 other families. Not sure what was happening with the flames that went off every few minutes, but they were microwaving the hell out of everyone’s food, which also makes you think, why was everyone’s food taking so long if they were just microwaving it? Needless to say, the food was horrendous. The microwaved salmon, Panko crusted chicken, and hamburger were just terrible. Definitely would not recommend this place to anyone.

Beautiful patio - and dog friendly! Happy hour menu covers all the bases and each one we ordered was delicious. Our server even sent us with a to go water for our pup. We will definitely be back!
