- MSmarc smithAug 10, 20263.0Decent taco shop on Front Street in Coupeville. I got the taco plate with 2 fish and 3 deshebrada. Maybe they're catering to local tastes, but I found the food bland. The fish tacos were under seasoned and overcooked. The salsa helped, but it couldn't overcome the lack of the flakiness in the fish. A nice, fresh pico de gallo would have brightened these up quite a bit. The deshebrada tacos were perfectly cooked, but lacked the kind of flavors I would have expected. Bean soup was advertised as being included with entrees, but it wasn't included with mine. The salsas were fine, but I would have liked something spicier - like a habañero. Counter service was fine, but not really welcoming or friendly. Not rude, just running through the paces. Great location on the water. I'd guess Molka Xete needs to cater to the tourist clientele that brings in the business. It didn't really work for me.

A great selection of tacos offered, and the vegan zucchini are a nice addition. We tell everyone we know about this place because the people are fantastic and super accommodating. It's a must if you're in the area. It will become a favorite.
