It was rancid and completely inedible. Yesterday I bought a beef steak for a celebratory dinner. It was expensive $25, but I was excited. Unfortunately it was so tough that I broke my steak knife trying to cut it! I ended up having to pick it up and gnaw at it like I was an animal and even then I was only able to chew through about 1/2 of it. I will never buy meat from Safeway again!
