- JAJuniper A.May 9, 20265.0One of the few grocery stores I've been too lately that seemed to not only have a decent number of employees working, but genuinely acted like they were happy to be there. Definitely underpaid and underappreciated, but at least morale seemed high, even for a Saturday.

I needed money orders, and nobody else is there to take over. I asked an employee a question, then a customer start verbally abusing me. I stood up for my self and it caused a huge problem. One night, me and my friend was buying stuff at that store. We walk to the checker and put our stuff on the belt. The chick was looking through her phone, ignoring us. The she puts her phone away and says What's up? We look at each other me and my friend. What did she just say? The Washougal Safeway is slightly better. Their employees are rude. I almost called Corporate, but a robot answered the line, and couldn't understand simple commands. Complaints... Robot pauses.. Then Robot ask me to say something else, and I did. It didn't understand me. Oh my god.. So I figure they don't need my business anymore. I work too hard to go through that kind of treatment. I was the only person still in my work clothes out of everyone there. Walmart, Fred Meyer, and Bi Mart. Way cheaper..

That's very inconvenient when you post your hours of operation and say you're operating including your Deli and you find out they're not. I can understand if they had some sort of major malfunctions like a plumbing issue or a power issue
