I had a $5 off fruit coupon I gave the cashier named Robin. She was very rude. I asked her if I could use it, she said yes. Thats all she said. As I’m walking out, I look at my receipt and notice she never gave me the five dollar coupon. So I walked back over to her and ask her about it and she said you didn’t hand me a five dollar coupon that was something else. So then I asked if I could have my five dollar coupon back so she starts digging through the garbage looking at five different receipts that are wrinkled up to try to find my receipt. My receipt would be right up top since I was just the last customer so she was literally looking for the wrong receipt on purpose. So I lost my five dollar coupon. I don’t get why she would have told me yes that I could use my coupon when I couldn’t have. I know for sure it was a $5 coupon as I just cleaned out my purse the night before and threw away all receipts besides my 2 $5 fruit coupons from safeway.

One trip a bag of clementine had a couple of bad ones in it so I had to make a trip back. Another I bought a loaf of bread on a Sunday and a slice had mold on it by Wednesday. The latest is the reason for this review. I always clip the deals for you coupons. The one had a price but it didn't discount it. I ended up having to come back twice only to be told that it is pick up or delivery which means you have to order it online. Any other place I have ever bought anything from, pick up meant you come in and pick it up. By deceiving people safeway has made this a principle thing instead of just the 8.00 difference. Pretty sad to lose over 30 years of business and 10's of thousands spent over 8.00.
