The best dosa in the Seattle region, hands down!!! We’ve been coming for years, and even drive from Renton now because YES, IT’S THAT GOOD!!! The dosa is crispy, the filling is super savory, the chutneys are very flavorful. I’ve never had anything less than amazing here, and we've tried numerous dishes. The hospitality is also unmatched! The owners and staff take the time to get to know you, and remember us when we come in. Such a delightful place to get authentic South Indian food!

This food was the best regional South Indian food I’ve had in the area, since I lived in Malaysia. No contest. Feels like I’m in someone’s home, in the best way. So close to the 527, there is no reason not to come in for a dosa, thalli or any of their other amazing dishes. Don’t wait as long as we did. Just go.

My first time having Indian here in Bothell. I ordered some standards , chicken 65, chicken Tika Masala and Malabar paratha . All very tasty and Vincent the owner and I had a nice chat and good Laugh!! Will be coming back again with my daughters . Thank you Vincent !!
We had dinner on Mother's day. The veggie thali was scrumptious, so was the dosa. We've always had good food @ Samurna but there's been a real upgrade. The food quality is up a couple notches for sure. The Owner made sure the service matched it. She even threw in a coffee on the house for Mother's day ! Highly recommended if you are a fan of South Indian Food!

As a fellow chef, I’m usually pretty critical and selective when dining out, but Samboorna in Bothell really nailed it. It’s rare to find a spot that hits those bold, authentic flavors without everything feeling heavy or greasy.
The Fish Thali (day special) was easily the highlight—the Kerala fish curry was perfectly spiced and the fish fry had that great home-cooked crispness. We also branched out into the Indo-Chinese menu with the Schezwan Chicken Noodles, Chicken 65 Biryani, Crab Chukka, and lollipop chicken and Spicy Corn Manchurian. We finished with a classic Masala Dosa, Podi idli, and Filter Coffee.
The service was warm and attentive for our group of five, and the prices are honestly a steal for this level of quality. If you're looking for delicious and authentic Indian meal that stands out from the usual local options, this is the place.
