After a couple of worsening recent visits, I gave them the benefit of the doubt and went back. But service has gone downhill a lot. Everyone gets a chance, but no more from me. Avoid. Other tables were also having significant complaints.

Best hamburger I have ever had! Service was a little slow but so worth the wait! Im from out of state on business and this place was a must go if you like quiet atmosphere, no crowds, personable service!

Best waitress I've had in a long time. The food was mid at best. Wasn't impressed with the blooming onion or the Aussie steak sammie. It was kind of expensive for what it was. The blackberry martinis were weak sauce, but thatade them delicious. A $9 drink needs more then a half a shot in it. Once again, our waitress was fantastic

Just bad food and worse customer service. I used to order food from here via DoorDash all the time and there was a fantastic manager who always made sure everything was great. At a certain point the quality of the food started to decline so I stopped ordering. After a few months I checked out the menu and saw they had some new steak options so I ordered the Delmonico 15oz ribeye through DoorDash with the hope that they were revamping their menu to be better. The steak was awful. It tasted terrible, the texture was rubbery and it just seemed like one of those cuts they inject with salt water to increase the weight and size cheaply. I had two bites and decided to feed it to my dog because it was so bad. I called them, not to request a refund but just to let them know they really missed the mark rather than jump straight to leaving a bad review, and the manager told me it’s not his problem and to take it up with DoorDash. I informed him that I wasn’t looking for a refund and that he didn’t have to be rude. Guy started backpedaling and said he would call me back to make it right and the phone call never came. Called back a couple days later and spoke to a different manager who said the last manager I spoke with was just filling in from a different location and that a third manager would call me back. Call never came. So, the 1 star review is here. Would be a zero if it let me. Customer service matters and I won’t be back.

I have been a regular customer of Outback Steakhouse in Bothell and have ordered lunch and dinner from this location many times without a problem. I have even submitted positive reviews in the past. Unfortunately, my experience on August 13, 2026—and especially how it was handled afterward—was so disappointing and unprofessional that I will not be returning. That afternoon, a coworker and I placed separate online orders for curbside pickup, with her order indicating that I would be picking it up for her. We had done this before without an issue, and the employees were familiar with us and our names. When I arrived, an employee I recognized from previous visits brought one bag to my car, chatted with me briefly, and I thanked her and left. Since I was picking up both orders, I assumed both were included. When I returned to work, I discovered the bag contained only my coworker's order and my small order—a side salad—had not been given to me. After work, I had to make a second trip to retrieve my order. A different employee came to my vehicle. Instead of simply acknowledging the mistake and apologizing for the inconvenience, she became defensive, telling me they "never put two different orders in the same bag" and insisting it was not their fault. I was surprised that the focus seemed to be on assigning blame rather than simply resolving the situation. When I asked if they could offer something for the inconvenience and time involved in making a second trip, she curtly responded, "What do you want?" She offered cheesecake or carrot cake, and I chose the cheesecake. When she returned with my order, she continued explaining why the restaurant was not at fault, making an already unnecessary situation even more tense and uncomfortable. The next day, I called and spoke with the manager, who told me she was also the owner—and the same person who had originally brought the order to my car. I was surprised because that meant she was the person who had failed to bring out both orders. Yet she also remained defensive and repeated that they were not at fault because they never put two separate orders in the same bag. I eventually received an apology, but after such a difficult conversation, it did not feel sincere. What happened afterward bothered me even more. A few days later, another coworker went to Outback to pick up her own order. She knew nothing about my experience because I had not told her about it. According to my coworker, an employee recognized her, mentioned me by name, told her about my complaint and interaction with the restaurant, and again tried to explain why the restaurant believed the situation was my fault. My coworker told the employee, "I don't know what you're talking about. I'm just here to get my order." She later told me the conversation was awkward and that the employee was speaking negatively about me. That crossed a line. Whatever disagreement the restaurant had with me should have remained between the restaurant and me. Discussing a customer's complaint by name with another customer—especially that customer's coworker—is extremely unprofessional and completely unnecessary. Mistakes happen. Had someone simply said, "We're sorry we missed your order and that you had to come back," I would have said, "It's okay," and that would have been the end of it. Instead, multiple employees, including management, became defensive and refused to take responsibility, and then my interaction with the restaurant was discussed with my coworker. I always enjoyed Outback's food and had been a loyal customer with no previous problems, which makes this especially disappointing. Unfortunately, after the way this situation was handled, I will not give this location my business again.
