Badly organized, out of a lot of items, and has rude cashiers. Sadly just not a great experience.

Cool place. Forested gorge/canyon. Its a bit of a walk down to the river. I'd say 30 minutes at least.

Your parking lot extends beyond that wells Fargo atm. Felt the need to let you know since whoever is in charge of the carts locking before I leave the sidewalk is unaware

The loss prevention undercover guys here are AWFUL. I have never stolen anything in my life yet I was very obviously followed around the store and after I even paid for my items I was followed outside as they photographed me and my vehicle. I ended up approaching them once I realized they were taking pics/video of me and asking them what's up but they just said "we're just doing our jobs". They looked like regular customers, one of them was wearing headphones and dirty clothes ...no name tags or uniforms which is unnerving considering they could have been anyone. Luckily I realized who they were but they could really endanger themselves and be a liability for the store should someone else not know and confront them for being "creepers". I assured them I hadn't stolen anything and that I had receipts for every item but that didn't make them back off or apologize. I think they even called in my car to the police because later that evening while at a friend's house another friend came over and mentioned my car that I hadn't had very long and (while not spectacular is just kinda a rare model around here) said it had been mentioned on police scanners earlier that day. Not so ironically, I was stalked by pierce county sheriff's and state patrol then pulled over and questioned extensively about my vehicle on my way home. Needless to say, if this wasn't the only Safeway near me I probably wouldn't go there at all...and I do usually try to go to grocery outlet, Fred Meyers, or Walmart whenever possible instead. I feel extremely disappointed, humiliated and upset about how I was treated as a paying customer. Their employees definitely need better training and need to learn to either correct mistakes (as I still get police following my vehicle since this incident!) or they need to learn not to be so quick to accuse innocent customers!! Also, side note: police do patrol this parking lot very heavily. I have had an officer walk up to my car, open my passenger door and literally pull my friend out by her wrist for a FTA warrant from another county that had just posted that day and she knew nothing about!! They detained her in the parking lot just to end up letting her go when the other county refused to come get her.
