  I went in to purchase the balloons I ordered the day before. There was no one in the department when I arrived. I asked when it would open and two employees came straight over and filled my 5 mylar balloons I'd picked out the night befor. They did not have to do that, it was pure customer service that made them jump in. They did a great jop and I appreciated there help and customer service. I thanked them and headed to the hospital. The pharmacy was also awesome in getting my Rx from Or. So I wouldn't run out while I was there. Overall every interaction with an employee and other customers was a good one.

  The ladies at self checkout were amazing today around 1 p.m. . They experienced everything that could be thrown at them and handled it efficiently ,with great attitudes. Well done ladies. Happy 4th of july

  I have been shopping at this Safeway for almost 10 years now. I have spent thousands of dollars here. I went in today with my newborn baby and boyfriend to get food for the house, great shopping experience overall. When we went to the checkout around 12:30pm on 6/16/26 we were being hovered by the self checkout lady, im not sure what her name was (she was short, dirty blonde hair, probably around 5'6. NOT the usual ladies who are there, the two short ones with brown hair. They are very nice.) She asked us if we had two separate orders, which we said no. Then she asked if we paid for everything in our cart, which we said yes. Which we did obviously. She did not say anything else after that but instead stood there the entire time while I was bagging as well as trying to peek into our baby stroller. We do not even look like the stereotypical people who come in and steal, we are well dressed with a newborn baby. After we left she reprinted the receipt and looked over it. Hopefully she feels bad that she saw that we did in-fact PAY for EVERYTHING. Again we come here about 2-3 times a week, very loyal customers. Im disappointed.

  The tall manager named ROSHAUD is creepy and inappropriate, and THIS IS THE LAST STRAW. That wasn't my friend you were flirting with. That wasn't an adult you made uncomfortable, THAT WAS MY 14 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER. Your lewd, underhanded comments about her dress was SO WRONG, and bragging about some kind of Range Rover while staring into my little girls eyes was NOT NORMAL, it's not okay and I'm never bringing my wife or kids here again. I would've went straight to the main office, but somehow, somebody made this guy a manger??? I will LITERALLY DRIVE TO THE LYNDEN SAFEWAY FROM NOW ON, this place used to be so nice... what is going on behind the scenes with management?

  This store does not prioritize helping customers due to production lists that they are graded on especially in the deli department so good luck on finding help. Everyone seems to be in a hurry, no one cleans up after themselves which is pretty clear when you take a look at the counters, floors, and meat slicer area. I am pretty positive it has been months since the floors have been mopped considering there are black stains all over. It is essential to have adequate staff to clean up, we the customers see it!!!
