I soon had a double armload and needed a basket. Got to the door and was looking for a place to set the load down to grab a basket without looking like a shoplifter when an employee noticed my situation and offered to help. It was great to get the help needed without having to search out someone and explain the issue I was having. I ended up filling my pack and carrying a bag back home as well. My thanks and appreciation to the staffer named Blue for helping me out!

I went to the Safeway in Eastgate Bellevue to exchange a propane tank this morning at around 6:35 a.m. There was a woman working at the self-checkout area, so I politely asked if she was a staff member. Instead of a friendly response, she curtly replied, "Then why?" After I explained that I was there to exchange a propane tank and completed the payment, she unlocked the cage but told me she couldn't do the exchange herself. She instructed me to remove the full tank, take it with me, and place the empty tank back in the cage. I had no problem doing that myself. What disappointed me was not the process, but the way I was treated. From the very beginning, her attitude was rude, curt, and unfriendly. Customer service should be respectful, especially during a simple transaction. Unfortunately, this unpleasant interaction was not the way I wanted to start my morning.
