If I'm going to pay $120+ for one family meal I feel like I shouldn't have to deal with scanning errors in the self checkout. I also love it when the grocer netting 3-4 billion dollars a year asks me to donate to feed the hungry. You know what the hungry need? A good paying job at the grocers. If you're going to keep prices at at all time high...it would be great to see a dozen locals employed at the register and helping people find what they need. Last time I went I swear there wasn't an employee in sight the whole time.

The self check-out lady (overweight, African-American woman who always wears a face mask) is ALWAYS incredibly rude. She truly lacks any sense of customer service and should be removed immediately, or at least taken off self-check out since she doesn’t exude any friendliness or any welcoming vibe whatsoever. Whenever I come here now, and see she is the only self check-out attendant, I go straight to the check out lines even if the line is much longer. I never look forward to my visit here solely because of her but it’s the closest Safeway to me.
