  I have placed two orders online for delivery (through their app) and both times my order never came. I called on both occasions and the person who answered at Customer Service told me they do not do delivery and debated the fact that I placed an order via their app for delivery. The person I spoke with at the Shop & Go department, knew exactly what I was calling for and rescheduled my delivery….which never came. Very frustrating since I can no longer drive and always shop with Safeway, or at least I did.

  I always shop here. It's not the snazziest looking store but it serves the community well

  SELF CHECKOUT: Completing my choices and checking out at self checkout. I Inputed my 2 bagels, and requiring help with the on sale dairy product, I finished witj a f8nal 2 donuts into the register. Each item on the screen WAS showing separately, as expected. I had completed everything before checking out, I then proceeded to place card into register when butterball attendant decided to accuse me of stealing. Because he only notice the 2donut entry and not the prior 2bagel entry for a total of 4 pasty items, which the register accurately recorded. Two separate pastry entries, therfore, he accused me of stealing. Once he accused me of stealing I just walked, no product no cost....simple. I know for a fact he did not take time to read the receipt correctly in the first place, if he had, he might have realized it was entered correctly into the self checkout register. It's a store I frequent, unfortunately, that particular interaction needs to be brought to someone's attention....O'well. So much for breakfast. HOPE 8/1/2026.

  Go to this store if you want to be treated like a criminal. I popped in to pick up my prescription and had it and my young child in the cart as I left. Whatever AI surveillance system they're using assumed I *had to* be stealing something and seized up the wheels of the cart and set off an alarm as I stepped out the main door. It stopped so violently I was worried it would hurt my child or the cart would tip. This is not the first AI accusation I've had this year either. When the girl scouts were out front a few months ago, I bought cookies from them and paid cash. I left them in the cart while using self checkout and was accused of not scanning an item by the surveillance video that came up on the self checkout screen. I avoid this store if at all possible and if I really have to shop there, I'll only use an in person register as there's no telling what their AI will accuse customers of next. Certainly no human employee stepped in during these instances or tried to remedy anything.
