I am writing this as a customer, musician, and working person who still has an injured hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder after a serious illness/collapse event following a meal from this location. To be fair, I reported the issue to the health department, and maybe this location is safer now after the complaint inspection and retraining/corrective action. I hope it is. But my experience and what followed made me very uncomfortable with letting my family return. The fries and chicken strips we were served appeared undercooked. The ranch/sauce also seemed abnormal to us. After my complaint, the inspection raised serious food-safety concerns, including critical red-point issues involving time/temperature control, dairy sauces being held without proper timing/labeling, and cold-holding problems. That matters because Mason County itself says red points are critical violations. A restaurant should not look fine to the public one moment and then show serious food-safety problems after someone gets sick. What scares me even more is that Mason County had previously shown this location with 0 red points, 0 blue points, and “PASSED.” That makes me question whether the public is really being protected, or whether families are trusting a system that is not catching problems until after harm occurs. I am not writing this to attack individual workers. I am writing this because food safety is serious. Families should be able to trust that cooked food is cooked, sauces are handled safely, temperatures are controlled, and management is trained well enough to protect customers. In my opinion, this location, and frankly all food establishments with critical violations in Mason County, should receive faster follow-up inspections. Inspection reports should be posted at the entrance. “Passed” should not hide critical red-point violations. I hope Dairy Queen corporate takes this seriously and starts doing its own random franchise inspections. Customers trust the DQ name, not just the local operator.

Stopped by with my son on way to the bus stop cause he's a slow walker and we missed the first one anyway had a nice treat with him tho they've got good 7 or 8 dollar meal deals with chicken strips or a burger fries a drink and small sundae. Can't really go wrong there in my opinion. Staff was friendly food was fast and what I expected from DQ.

For 1 there was an ant infestation by the patio door and there were crawling EVERYWHERE they were all over my legs and it was disturbing and disgusting. For 2 the manager that was working that night ( a tall, skinny guy with a like neck beard) was really rude to customers and was yelling were customers can hear and 3 this girl in ice cream ( she was shorter with red-ish-purple medium hair with bangs) was coughing a hole bunch into her hands and not washing them before making my cone in a cup, worst experience there EVER
