No one in customer service asked for help and I was told to wait 10 minutes then ask again. That’s really stupid. Seriously this store sucks!

The smell inside was so strong and bad that it made both me and my son start coughing. It was really uncomfortable and hard to stay inside for long. Very disappointing experience.

This is a fine location. I don’t have any issues with the staff, and while the parking lot can seem a little dicey, I haven’t noticed any issues during my visits. My complaint is ridiculous to some, I’m sure, and at some point this is also my own fault for not noticing, but I’m going to say it here anyway to warn others.
Each and every single time I have purchased meat that has been marked down, NO ONE gives the discount. Three times in the recent three months I have been lucky enough to find something on sale, and just noticed today that they failed to give the discount at all on the two items I purchased.
Now I say this has happened three times because in my freezer, everything is organized by date. When meat is marked down at Safeway, they need to be sold within a very limited timeframe, and I have three separate months in there. So all this time that I’m supposed to be getting 30% off, I have NOT been getting it, as the sticker that states “Manager Special” is *still* on the freaking package. This sticker needs to be removed and scanned for you to get the discount. So I’ve lost around $30 in discounts because they just haven’t been giving them.
That. Freaking. Sucks.
So for the love of god, mind the small talk and pay attention to these checkers, because they sure as hell aren’t, and this is not the time to have a big corporation ripping you off so consistently. This has never happened to me at any other location. Wild that it happens here so much.

I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the treatment I received at this location. While exiting the store with my employer, I was intercepted by three staff members (two females and one male) who accused me of theft.
Despite immediately complying by showing the contents of my bag and providing a valid receipt, the male associate continued to loudly harass me. He insisted I had not paid for my dog food, despite the receipt clearly showing a $44.99 charge that corresponded to that item.
This public confrontation was handled with zero discretion, causing significant emotional distress and directly resulting in the termination of my employment. I am currently seeking legal counsel regarding the defamation of character and the lack of procedural evidence used before I was detained.
