  They kept correcting my way of shopping. First, I was not supposed to use my own basket, had to use their cart tho I only bought a few items and had my own shopping bag. Second, I was not supposed to put items into the cart after scanning them. Fred Myer self checkout always says put the items in the bagging area or the cart, after scanning. So I thought it's okay. The lady at the check out today grabbed my bag on the cart, handed it to me and told me to set it in the bagging area to follow their rules. I kinda had enough of their BS rules. Instead of keep correcting customers, why not just clean the weighing counters that are always sticky and nasty.

  Don’t come here if you want a custom cake. I ordered an anniversary cake for my wife and I that was supposed to be a beautiful floral cream cheeese icing with vanilla cake and raspberry filling. I don’t know if it’s incompetence or lack of care, but they didn’t set the cream cheese frosting, nor keep it cool. This resulted in a cake that was falling apart as the bakery attendant handed it to me. The worst part, I still had to pay half-price for a cake that was falling apart and did not look good. Such a shame that they advertise this service. If you want a cake, make it yourself. At least you’d have the knowledge to set the cream cheese frosting and keep it cold, unlike Safeway. Such a disappointment.

  Really disappointed with how this Safeway is set up. It’s extremely difficult and uncomfortable to check out. Today, I got my groceries and went up to the front to check out, but there was no one there. I was then told by an employee to go over to the alcohol area in the middle of the store to check out. The problem is, there are so many displays and products placed in the middle of the aisles where customers are being directed to bring their carts. With multiple people trying to check out at the same time, the area becomes extremely crowded and jammed. It’s difficult to maneuver a cart and feels very uncomfortable.

  This store is filthy, The floor extremely dirty. It would not a health inspection. Hot food and deli understaffed with one women who had to cover both areas while customers were 20 deep. Manager is not doing their job. Bring in staff or Manager needs to cover. I will be turning this store into the health department. Staff is very nice but wow the filth and garbage is disgusting and I owned. Business very near this store for 30 years but now it has declined tremendously. Corporate needs to be aware!
