I ABSOLUTELY HATE GIVING BAD REVIEWS!! My boyfriend’s Blizzard was thick, delicious-looking, and—brace yourselves—actually treated like a Blizzard. The employee even turned it upside down. 😱👏🏻 What an incredible display of Blizzard craftsmanship. (He wanted a different blizzard and was told "I don't have a button for that.", so he reluctantly ordered an Oreo blizzard. Not what we went there for. We've never been told that there's "No button for that" before.) Then there was mine. Mine apparently entered the building under the “we’ve given up” program. It came out of nowhere, was casually slid across the counter like someone was trying to get rid of evidence, and the employee immediately disappeared back to the drive-thru area. No upside-down test for mine, which was probably a wise decision considering mine was basically soft-serve soup with approximately half the cup filled with whipped cream. Had they attempted to flip it over, we would've gone from ordering dessert to cleaning dairy products off the counter and possibly the ceiling. And I did notice the little “Ohhh… $h!+” look exchanged between the two employees. You know the one. That brief moment of silent workplace communication where nobody says anything, but somehow the entire conversation is: “Is it supposed to look like that?” “Absolutely not.” “Are we going to fix it?” “Absolutely not.” The person working the front counter also seemed to have far more important things happening in their life than taking our order. And honestly, I respect the confidence it takes to make a paying customer feel like they're interrupting your personal schedule. But hey, body language is 90% of communication, and theirs was communicating VERY clearly: “I don't want to be here, I don't want to make your Blizzard, and I'd really appreciate it if you could leave.” Mission accomplished. We won't be bothering you again, and as for the 2 blizzards we spent a little under $15 on... They were both very bland and my pumpkin pie soup had some sort of large and lumpy substance in it. Like the ice cream was put into the cup and then the mix ins were all of a sudden remembered, so they were stashed in the cup, under the mound of whipped cream that somehow cost me $7.

THE CHICKEN STRIP BASKET WITH COUNTRY GRAVY IS BACK!!! AND IT CAME WITH TOAST!!! This is a childhood favorite and I was so upset when DQ eliminated the gravy and toast, even though the toast is so basic. Anyways, happy its back! The only thing I hate about this location is that you can only get into the lot when traveling west on Auburn Way South.

Food was ok, I had the triple flamethrower, medium cheese curds, and a medium orea blizzard with marshmallow. The flamethrower was filling on it's own, not nearly as spicy as I remember it being from around 5 years ago, maybe a recipe change in the sauce, so I was a little disappointed. The cheese curds were Luke warm, didn't taste fresh. And the blast had very little marshmallow taste to it. Food was Still filling and good, but it's going to be a long while before I visit another DQ specifically for the fact that this meal cost me roughly $24 even though it was technically cheaper as a combo than it would have been paying for them separately. I would say based on the prices this may be an ok place to take a date for like the 5th date in the relationship/after, but the vibe of this place seems to be a "get your stuff and get out" type of fast food joint. Which could also be attributed to it being Auburn but that's just me. I may have a bias as I work at a Sonic currently and the current limited time Tropical Smasher with medium mozzarella sticks and a medium oreo Blast which technically could be valued the same, is Cheaper. (Not by much but still.)

Girl at the drive threw was weird she made our cones way ahead of time and they were so sloppy and melty everywhere before we were out the lot, plus she acted weired I was using a 1 dollar cone coupon along with other purchases she wouldn't scan the app she asked for my phone number to redeem ,prior to that we had ordered meals and the food was clearly cooked in the microwave in a gross way and I asked and they agreed food was heated in microwave.
