- STShawn Tayler3 days ago1.0Amanda who is the manager is racist. She always is checking my receipt. But doesn't check anyone else's. I drive an extra 20 minutes to go the smokey point safeway just so I don't have to deal with her racism. Safeway should be ashamed to have her working for them.

I use EBT for food and yet the delivery charge wants to add my groceries with delivery and will not give me options to pay delivery fee alone with a debit card. They kept giving me numbers after numbers to call and each one said sorry that is not our specialty to help you. I love shopping at Safeway but this is ridiculous. It should Be Possible to pay EBT for food and a debit or credit card for the other fee. Unsatisfied today.

Made me pay for a bag that I had already paid for told me that it comes out of their pocket when I had already paid for the bag was extremely unprofessional and rude about it. Pretty sure you’re not supposed to pay for bags when paying with EBT card. I purchased over $200 in food and other products in that one transaction I can go across town to the other grocery store and not be treated like that as someone who owns his own company. Those employees would be fired. You do not treat customers in that manner ever.
- NNNJul 23, 20261.0Delivery orders are always multiple hours late with zero communication or option to cancel and go pick it up. Ordered at 2pm, quoted delivery window was 5pm-7pm. It’s now past 10pm and still not delivered. This has happened many times. I’m switching to Walmart for food delivery.
