- ALAC LangJul 2, 20261.0This store always sell spoiled meat! We have had to refund more meat than we buy. If it doesn’t appear to be spoiled, it makes everyone sick. Meat from the butchers do not. SAFEWAY DO BETTER!

I used to be in grocery management and things now aren’t the way they used to be. Customer service is lacking everywhere now but this store is different . Speaking with the meat department staff was fantastic! It’s refreshing to see great customer service again. Thank you Ron and the rest of your crew! You all made my families day better.

The person quietly complained (he clearly felt uncomfortable or unsafe and didn't want to make a scene) to the teller while checking out who informed his manager. The manager said he "would talk to them" but it didn't seem like he cared or was taking it seriously. The teller was apologetic about it and said the loss provention team weren't their employees but I got the impressions it was normal for those guys.

Not only was he incredibly helpful and courteous over the phone, but he took the initiative to ensure we were taken care of. Knowing that we were driving all the way in from Elma, he offered—completely on his own without being asked—to set aside the two specific pastas we wanted so they wouldn't run out before we arrived. That kind of ambition, foresight, and genuine customer care is rare these days. Jeremiah is a massive asset to this deli team. Thank you for making our trip worth it!
