- NGNatessa GallantJun 24, 20262.0Unfortunately, our experience at Shaw’s in Stowe was disappointing. From the moment we arrived, the store seemed overwhelmed and understaffed. Several employees appeared stressed, and customer service was not particularly friendly or welcoming. Many of the shelves throughout the store were empty or poorly stocked, making it difficult to find several items on our shopping list. While occasional inventory issues can happen, the overall appearance gave the impression that the store was struggling to keep up with demand. The parking lot was another concern. It appeared unkempt, with litter and debris in several areas, which did not create a great first impression before even entering the store. We understand that busy seasons and staffing challenges can affect any business, especially in a popular destination like Stowe. However, customers still expect a clean, well-stocked store and courteous service. Hopefully management can address these issues, as the location has the potential to provide a much better shopping experience.
