This store regularly sells expired products. You buy a package of sliced cheese from the deli and realize once you’re home that there’s mold on it. You buy a bottle of mayo, get home and realized it expired a year ago. Wish there were more options for groceries around here. This place just doesn’t care and is really gross.

Consistently middling to poor quality produce, the aisles (and product categories within them) aren’t set up intuitively, and the cashiers are, from what I can tell, high school students who are more focused on talking to each other than actually doing their job or learning how to act professional.

Fairly clean nice staff only complaint is price really but if you make the 30 minute ride to market basket you can save a good amount.

Your sirloin beef appears to be made with meat glue, and your so-called sirloin, makes me sick. I am positive you are failing to label the sirloin as small meat pieces glued together with meat glue that makes me sick. Every time I buy sirloin I end up giving the food to the dog. See attached images. The sirloin falls apart when boiled which proves you glued small pieces together with meat glue and fraudulently failed to warn and inform me. Do you have any real beef? I never clearly connected the incidences of having stomach pains with your beef until I did research today on the scientific name for meat glue, which is transglutaminase (often abbreviated as mTG when derived from microbes). It is a natural enzyme that acts as a bonding agent, binding proteins together by creating strong covalent bonds, acting like biological Velcro. THE PROBLEM IS I AM OVER 70. Meat glue (microbial transglutaminase or mTG) is generally recognized as safe (GRAS) by the FDA, but it presents potential health risks for individuals over 70, particularly those with autoimmune disorders or compromised gut health. Key concerns include increased intestinal permeability ("leaky gut"), potential triggering of autoimmune reactions like celiac disease, and higher bacterial contamination risks from glued, undercooked meats. PS: And I don't like your hamburger either because it sometimes has tiny pieces of bone which make my teeth just scream. I am so fed up with Shaws, but where else can I get fóod delivered when I want it? How can I get the "shopper" to go to the meat counter and explain I don't want tiny bones in hamburger and I don't want glued together meat? Cris Ericson, Chester, VT
