- WBWendy Brown3 days ago2.0We were at 5 guys on the Shelburne road last night and the manager berated his help in front of the entire place. She was crying. Another person made a burger wrong and the acting manager told the worker , This is your mistake and you are supposed to throw this away, but you are going to eat it! The poor worker was embarrassed and we were mortified! Today, my grandson begged to go there after his sporting event and the same manager was yelling at a girl and called the owner or another manager on the phone in the inside entryway and was yelling . The crew acted scared and 2 patrons left separately and both said they will never go back. . I asked the girl if she felt safe and she shook her head. My family left after I told the acting manager that he should be ashamed of himself and conversations should be private. I said that as a former business owner, you act responsible and if there is a problem with an employee, it is never to be in front of customers. I was told by him that he doesn't speak Spanish and can't communicate with her. We won't be going back as long as he is employed there.

Snotty workers who don't speak english. Held my order on the counter behind them and I had to ask for my bag so I could get the heck out of there.

The only products we offer that contain gluten are our buns, hot dogs (Canada only), HP sauce (UK only), and the malt vinegar condiment for our fries. Why does Five Guys have peanuts for free?
Serving peanuts for free began as a way for people to pass the time while they waited for us to cook up their meals (way back in the day, before smartphones). It was such a hit, and has become such a Five Guys tradition, that we keep our stores stocked with peanuts to this day.

Leftover fries are excellent reheated in the oven (or Air Fryer). According to Chad Murrell, one of the Five Guys, just pop them in a 350-degree oven for about 10-15 minutes.
