- DBD BurchfieldMay 2, 20261.0On Thursday, April 23rd, my wife and I ordered Takeout. She had the Veggie Burrito, I had the Empanadas. On Friday night, my wife became ill and on Monday, after a rough weekend, I took her to the ER. Her tests came back positive for eColi, which was due to tainted food from Gringo Jacks. We never eat out- this was the first time in weeks. I emailed them to let them know of the situation but they ignored my email. I have also filed a report with the Vermont Health Department. I do hope they see this review and take the opportunity to review their food handling procedures.

The colorful decor and lively music create a fun, family friendly atmosphere, and the chips with fresh salsa are always crunchy and delicious. We also love their guacamole and tasty street tacos. Great food, great vibe, and reasonable prices. Would definitely come back again!
