- JYJimmy YenSep 6, 20265.0Who doesn't love ice cream, especially with the incredible variety of creative flavors that Ben & Jerry's always delivers? Tucked right on the corner at Riverwalk Landing in Yorktown, Virginia, this charming little scoop shop could not be in a more convenient location. It is the ideal first stop right after parking in the garage, or the sweetest way to wrap up a day exploring town. The moment you walk through the door, the aroma is absolutely delightful, made even better by watching the team press fresh, warm waffle bowls right behind the counter. The ice cream itself needs no introduction, but the experience was elevated by our server, who was remarkably courteous and patient as we made our picks. We even ordered a milkshake that came blended rich and filled straight to the brim. It was an absolute hit that made the perfect treat to carry down to the beach for the kids.
- GGGerardacusAug 23, 20261.0Drove 20 minutes because Google maps said the store was open. The hours on the door said it was open. The glowing neon sign in the window said it was open. The three teenagers inside locked the door and said it was closed. An hour early.
- DDDenine DAug 19, 20261.0I was not greeted by the four workers behind the counter with their backs turned away from the counter. When one did turn I said I’d like to get a cone when you’re ready. Nothing was said back to me, instead she glanced at another worker. Eventually the other worker turned to me, approached and just looked at me, said nothing, I gave my order was handed my cone, still nothing said. The same with my friend who was getting coffee at the other register. They were all completely miserable. No need to ever go back there. I did not feel welcome.
