I like Food Lion a lot. Food Lion has good sales. The Food Lion located at 13414 Richmond highway woodbridge, va needs keep bread & sale items in stock better instead of just stocking milk, juice or other well/better stocked merchandise. Everytime I go to FL the cha-ching white bread, hot dog & hamburger buns need to be restocked. EVERYTIME. I go to this FL A LOT. On labor day the hot dog/hamburger buns were onsale for $1 & of course FL was out. I went to FL on 9/20/26 the super pretzels were onsale for buy 2 get 1 free. There were only 2. I asked an employee if there were anymore he said there weren't any left. If you're going to have a good sale & you notice certain items sell good, even if it's non sale item(s) like the cha-ching bread/buns, during the sale you should order extra of that item. I like the FL ice cream. It's really good just as good as name brand ice cream. At 1 point FL stopped selling FL ice cream & french fries. I looked up why this happened & I THINK the answer was that they lost their distributor. Since FL started selling the ice cream & fries again FL doesn't have a lot/as much different FL ice cream flavors like chocolate cookies & cream ice cream as before. This FL really, really needs to get/install self check out lanes. I only gave 2 stars because of the issues listed above. If they change it I'll change the stars.

The store was okay but I wasn’t too impressed. The selection was average compared to other grocery stores I’ve been to. Nothing terrible but not somewhere I would go back to.

Great prepared sandwich meal in deli area. Sub sandwich (good), good pickle spear, and chocolate chunk cookie. Great value for $6

Best Food Lion I've known This is not my local Food Lion, but I wish it was. The deals are great and plentiful, the staff are sociable, kind, and polite. The only thing that's missing is Food Lion brand diet Root Beer, but no location seems to carry it. I was surprised by the grandiose pickle, hot sauce, and BBQ (among other things) selection. They had so much of the things I've hard to get from multiple different sources in one location.
