  Well worth the price for a solid hit of nostalgia. My grandfather made burgers and fries just like this for me when I was a kid. No other restaurant comes close. Is $40 really too much to feed two people? For a consistently excellent product, I don't think so. As a side note, this location is exponentially better than the Lorton Five Guys. 10/10 will visit again!

  I left this restaurant today extremely dissatisfied, and unfortunately, my experience was far below what I would expect from Five Guys, especially considering the price. One of the first things I noticed was nearly six employees, including managers, standing around having conversations while customers were waiting to be served and meals were being prepared. While that was disappointing to see, it was not the primary reason for my negative review. The biggest issue was the quality of the food. The hamburger was excessively wet to the point that the bun was completely saturated, almost as if it had been dipped in water before being placed on the sandwich. It was extremely unpleasant to eat. The fries were another major disappointment. If these fries were supposed to be double-fried, I honestly couldn't tell. They were soggy, lacked the expected crispiness, and did not resemble the quality I have traditionally associated with Five Guys. I was also surprised by the portion of fries. Whatever happened to the generous Five Guys cup overflowing with fries? What I received was a small bag with a relatively small amount of fries placed inside, with only a few additional fries scattered on top. At this price point, that was extremely disappointing. You can get more fries from McDonald's for considerably less money. At this point, it feels as though Five Guys is becoming the new Chipotle—charging premium prices while appearing increasingly stingy with portions. I paid nearly $21 for what amounted to a bag of fries and a meal that did not meet the quality I expected. For that same money, I could purchase significantly more food at a grocery store and have enough to last for multiple meals. Finally, I don't know whether this was specific to this location or simply an unusual mistake, but virtually everything I tasted seemed to contain an excessive amount of peppers. From the fries to the peanuts, the pepper flavor was overwhelming. I did not request a spicy meal, so I am not sure what was happening in the kitchen at this particular location. Overall, this experience left me extremely disappointed. I don't mind paying a premium price when the quality, portions, and service justify it. But when the food quality declines while the prices remain high, the value simply isn't there. Frankly, I am becoming increasingly frustrated with eating out because too often the quality of the food and service no longer matches what customers are being charged. Today's experience was a perfect example of that.

  Great Five Guys Location! This Five Guys location is definitely one of the best in the DMV! The staff is always smiling, friendly, and attentive, which makes the experience even better. The food is consistently fresh, hot, and cooked just right. You can really tell that the team takes pride in what they do. Definitely recommend this location! 🍔🍟
