On May 12, I visited this Chick-fil-A location and placed a drive-thru order that included two salads and a Strawberry Hibiscus Sprite. When I arrived home and reviewed the order, I realized that neither salad included dressing, and the beverage had carbonation, but no sweetness whatsoever, as if the syrup had not been replaced. We ultimately did not consume the salads or finish the drink. I immediately attempted to contact the store directly but could not reach anyone locally by phone. The automated system directed me to Chick-fil-A Cares, where I opened a case regarding the missing items and poor-quality beverage. I was advised that someone from the local store would contact me within three business days. As of today, May 28, I still have not received an email or phone call from the store. During that timeframe, I made two additional attempts to contact the store myself without success. Chick-fil-A Cares also submitted three additional follow-up requests to the store, all of which went unanswered. Today, while back in the area, I stopped by the store in person to finally try to resolve the issue. I spoke with a manager named Cindy and explained everything. She initially advised that they could either refund the order or remake the food. I told her I was perfectly agreeable to either option, but since I was not planning to eat there today, I asked whether the remake could be applied as points or store credit for a later visit. After speaking with her supervisor, Chad in the back, she returned and stated that they would not provide a refund and could only remake the food now. I again explained that I did not need the food right then and was simply trying to find a reasonable solution after waiting over two weeks without communication. Unfortunately, I was told there were no other options available. I then asked if I could speak directly with the supervisor, Chad. Cindy again went to the back and later returned stating that he had to leave to go to another store and was unavailable to speak with me. What is most disappointing is not simply the missing items themselves, but the complete lack of communication, accountability, and customer service throughout this entire process. Update: Restaurant responded to Chick-fil-A Cares. I received a generic email stating that they uploaded a beverage and fry reward to my account. Completely unacceptable!
