  The food here was absolutely incredible! Got the chicken katsu bento box and the portions were actually pretty massive for $14. Spring roll, Chicken katsu and fried rice were all great. I’ll be dropping by here everytime I’m in the area

  Yesterday, I purchased the shrimp, beef and chicken with 2 pieces of cake. The food tastes fine. My complaint was that there were only three small shrimp in the entire box. I called them and they admitted that there was only three shrimp.There was also very little chicken, and the beef was cut into tiny pieces.And there was very little of that. There was, however, a lot of rice, broccoli,tofu and cabbage with some peas and carrots. You hardly get any meat at all. I'm not telling you not to patronize them. But keep in mind they are filling your box with fillers. It's not worth the price. If I want to eat a box of vegetables, I'll l ask for box of vegetables. Check your box before you leave and pick through it looking for the meat, Tofu doesn't count. The person that answered the phone said she would let management know. Yeah, okay.

  Hibachi Express Japanese Restaurant is such a great addition to the area! Halal Japanese food was really missing here, and this place truly delivers. The chefs are experienced and clearly well-trained—the food quality can honestly match or even beat many restaurants we’ve tried across the U.S. The menu has a wide variety of options, and everything we ordered was fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. The staff and owner are extremely welcoming, which makes the whole experience even better. Service is also fast, so you don’t have to wait long even when it’s busy. And the cakes? Absolutely delicious, definitely don’t skip dessert! Highly recommended if you’re looking for high-quality halal Japanese food in the Woodbridge area.

  I recently visited 1+1 Hibachi Express and had a great experience. The staff gave a warm welcome and provided excellent customer service throughout. The food was amazing—fresh, flavorful, and the meat being halal is a big plus. Portions are large and prices are very reasonable for the quality. Definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to!
