- DSDanell SweringenAug 6, 20261.0Maybe they should try cleaning the place. The restroom was filthy and the tables were sticky and nasty. The staff could hardly speak English and a few needed an interpreter. If they can't speak English how can they follow health and sanitary rules and regulations. Our burgers were raw and the fries had been double cooked. We watched them cook old cold fries and serve them to us. We asked for fresh fries and properly cooked burgers and we couldn't get a response. This was a horrible experience we paid for food we couldn't eat.

Serving peanuts for free began as a way for people to pass the time while they waited for us to cook up their meals (way back in the day, before smartphones). It was such a hit, and has become such a Five Guys tradition, that we keep our stores stocked with peanuts to this day.
