  Polite staff however, I placed an order on Monday for Wednesday morning pickup. Arrived 40 mins late thinking order would be ready & I could just grab & go. Order not ready. Was told it would be another 10 minutes. Checked with them again after 20 minutes because I tried to give them more time. Order STILL not ready. Unacceptable.

  If I could leave 0 stars I would. Panera will not see another dime of my money. I placed an order on the app while out running around. I opted for a LATER pick up time than what was available, to accommodate my schedule. I get no notifications from the app saying there’s an issue - everything says my order will be ready at 2:05pm. I get there at 2:07, wait about 5 mins, look on the screen, and notice I am ELEVENTH in line. I ask a worker, who is not able to give me any time frame of when it will actually be ready. I was simply told they were behind, and in fact, on their end, they could not even SEE my order because it was so far on the list. Eventually a manager steps in, Michelle, who was no help and extremely unpleasant. She had no empathy or desire to fix my issue. I was not offered an apology, a curtesy drink while I wait, a cookie, a discount, NOTHING that would have helped alleviate the issue. I was offered a refund or wait for an unspecified amount of time for my 2 HALF SANDWICHES. I explained that a refund didn’t seem to suffice my wasted time and gas, to which again, no other alternative was offered. I have worked in customer service for 15 years and was absolutely appalled at the ZERO amount of efforts made to save a customer. Panera is in desperate need of an updated app ordering system and new managers who don’t look like you’re bothering them by asking them to simply do their job of providing CUSTOMER SERVICE.

  I ordered 1/2 dozen asiago bagels via the app (rapid pickup). When i returned to my hotel room and opened the bag i found all the bagels were stale day old bagels. UNSATISFACTORY!!!
