  The only reason I’m giving this place a low review is because I came in with my family we were staying at great wolf lodge for my daughters birthday and wanted to eat out for our last night so we chose this place on Saturday April 25th we came as a party of 9 and 7 of those are kids and 2 adults the lady told us the wait was 10 mins we was more than ok with that because we are not from there so driving around looking for a new place to eat wasn’t an option so as we are waiting a party of 8 come in and I have to say these was white people all adults the lady told them the wait would be 20 minutes they immediately wasn’t taking that for an answer and they asked to sit at the bar but because they had 8 people they couldn’t just take up space at the bar so they kept saying 20 minutes the wait is 20 minutes so literally only 2 minutes passed mind you we are sitting there with kids and the lady sits them immediately I was so devastated because the micro aggression was so loud I was fuming the lady didn’t apologize or nothing we had to continue to wait no apology we paid full price and tipped no nice gesture was even considered after the pure racism the only reason we didn’t make a fuss was because of the kids and we were hungry but that was a hard pill to swallow because we know why this happened the waitress we had was so good she redeemed them but overall what happened was very mean and blatantly racist we wasn’t locals so this put a bad taste in our mouth about Williamsburg VA all together

  Their carnitas were disgusting. Not, “I don’t prefer this” I’m talking 0 flavor, no seasoning, and the pork tasted of soap for some reason. Not “cilantro tastes soapy”. No, I’m talking legit fabuloso. And now I’ve been in the bathroom all day. I haven’t eaten anything since lunch because my stomach hasn’t been able to handle anything since my meal from this abomination to Mexican food. They messed up my wife’s salad with no lettuce. They messed up my sons cheese pizza by adding pepperoni. Ended a great trip to Williamsburg in a horrible way. I’m offended for the people of Mexico.

  Food is good and have a great variety in the menu. Online orders can be iffy for pick up and very very slow. When ordering online it Will tell you that food will be ready in 15-20 mins. But I ended up waiting > 1 hour. Ridiculous. May be don't take an order if you cannot make it on time. Update: when I complained to the waitress she says why did I order online I should have called via phone. I mean if you offer online ordering how am I supposed to know it doesn't work properly. Then she tells me I should order fast food if I cannot wait. The manager or chef stopped by few mins later and apologized and sped up the process. But still it took 1 hr 10 mins from online ordering.

  We are vacationing from Maine and didn’t expect the such generous portions of truly authentic Mexican food. I only regret that we didn’t get photos of the giant spread before we dove in. The greens were fresh, tacos & burritos stuffed, and guacamole fresh. The grilled mushrooms were very good as well. For a Tuesday night after 8pm it was the only restaurant still full of cars - that says a lot.
