I don’t know why my husband and I had never been to Frank and Patty’s before, but I’m SO glad we finally gave it a try! We stopped in for a bite before Monster’s On The Beach on 5/15/26 and ended up finding what may be the best burger spot we’ve ever had.
A quick heads up for first timers: parking is VERY limited. There’s a small gravel lot behind the building that only holds around 7 cars. We were told you can also park down the street at Lollie’s, but it’s a bit of a walk. Definitely don’t park in random nearby lots unless you want to risk getting towed.
The entrance is in the rear of the building, and as soon as we walked in we were greeted warmly and seated right away. We arrived around 3pm, so it was pretty quiet, which honestly made for a nice relaxed experience. One of the first things I noticed was how clean everything was. The bar area was really nice and the whole place felt welcoming and well kept.
Our server, Erica, was absolutely wonderful. Since it was our first visit, she took the time to explain the burger options and answer all of our questions. She was incredibly friendly and helpful the entire time.
The menu isn’t huge, but there are plenty of great options. Our food came out in a reasonable amount of time, fresh and hot. Their burgers are smash burgers with two patties, and WOW... now I understand the hype.
I ordered the Oklahoma Burger with cheese, grilled onions, pickles, and a potato bun. My husband got the Patty Burger with cheese, pickles, and their “good boy sauce” on a potato bun. The first bite of my burger literally made me blurt out “OH MY GOD!” across the table. 😂 It was hands down one of the best burgers I’ve ever eaten. Somehow it reminded me of a Philly cheesesteak in the best possible way. I ended up removing the pickles just because I’m personally not big on pickles, but the burger itself was phenomenal. My husband absolutely demolished his and kept talking about how delicious it was.
We split an order of fries, which were good. Hot and crispy, just not the star of the meal compared to those incredible burgers.
Before we left, we were offered their homemade banana pudding for dessert, which we happily took to go and ate before the monster truck show. I’ll admit I was a little shocked afterward realizing we paid $8 for banana pudding, but honestly... it was delicious and a generous portion, so no real complaints there.
I truly don’t understand some of the negative reviews. The food was fantastic, the service was fast and genuinely friendly, and overall we had an excellent experience from start to finish. Frank and Patty’s is definitely a hidden gem, and we’ll absolutely be back!
