If I could give this store a zero, I absolutely would! How are you going to tell a customer they cannot enter their EBT card number manually? When I order groceries online, are you there to see whether I physically have my EBT card with me? No, you're not! To make matters worse, an employee claimed that all Food Lion locations follow the same policy. That is simply not true. At the Food Lion locations in Suffolk, where I live, they do not make an issue of whether you physically have your card with you. I was also told that the store has experienced numerous fraudulent EBT purchases. Okay, but how does that justify the inconsistent treatment of customers who are simply trying to purchase groceries? One cashier asked me to provide a picture of my EBT card, so I called someone to retrieve the picture and send it to me. After going through all that trouble, another employee came over and told me that I had to have the physical card in person. That was absolutely ridiculous and unnecessary, in my opinion. What makes this situation even more frustrating is that if this is truly a store policy, why aren't all employees communicating and enforcing it consistently? One employee tells me one thing, and another tells me something completely different. I understand that stores have policies and procedures to prevent fraud, but customers deserve clear communication, consistency, and respectful treatment. The way this situation was handled was frustrating, inconvenient, and completely unprofessional. I will certainly think twice before shopping at this location again.

I would've given it a 5 star but for the shopping cart locking up on me, it's frustrating and this time it happened as I was waking out of the store and into the parking lot and I had no choice but to leave it where it locked up at because it was heavy for me to carry over

Absolute WORST produce section I have ever seen . Walked in at 7am and all produce items were left out . Coolers were not on . I have mentioned this to store manager many times before . Would like to request corporate come and do a pop up visit . I have worked for foodlion in my youth and I’m disappointed that corporate allows this.

So The Manager Manager with the long nasty hair with glasses, is so rude. I saw her yelling at one of her workers in front of everyone. That's not good customer service and someone higher needs to have a talk with her.
