  First time at this Food Lion, but I do frequent the Birchwood Mall Center. The signage is good from Virginia Beach Blvd. I only needed one item, but had time to browse. The store was clean and well stocked. Prices seem to be about what you would expect to pay at other stores. I tried their newer self check out and had a small hiccup, but an employee was nearby to assist. I would say a 3.5 fits them best. I would return.

  Clean. Friendly staff. Always has great produce. Best fried chicken since farm fresh went under.

  Great Food Lion! Better than the one I normally go to. My hats off to the employees there. But they were stocked up on everything as far as I could see, no gaps.

  Prices are mostly good just a bit smaller than the other chains.
