  I usually order my beverage without a lime because they come like this. Disgusting this has to be five days old. I asked the manager if she would serve this to her mother she said no sorry and walked away. I will spend my money elsewhere in the future.

  A good amount of fun games. Not so much prize game, like claw mac, but still a lot of games. Gave it 3 stars due to the ticket redemption area. The worker, Alex with glasses and a beard, has poor customer service towards kids. I had my kid put all the prizes on the counter and hand the card to Alex. He snatched it from her hands. The only words out of his mouth was the remaining tickets left. He sucked the fun away from my kid.

  Kids love the games. The food was good, great service from waiter.. We went back a second time, I had about 20 different cards loaded inside DB app. The manager, Clint came to help us. He took almost 15 minutes , working on the app, to get all points n chips onto one card. He really put in alot of work to do this for us..Thanks again Clint..I call this over and beyond in his call as a manager..we will be back..

  My partner and I, along with a large group of friends, have been loyal customers of the Virginia Beach Dave & Buster’s for years. Our crew is more than 20 couples with over a dozen teenagers, all dedicated sports fans — NFL, NHL, and everything in between. We’ve attended countless events here over the years, including Halloween parties, theme nights, and game‑day gatherings etc. This location used to be our go‑to spot for fun, food, and community. One of the biggest reasons we kept coming back was the Barbacoa fries pulled pork appetizer. Removing it was a genuinely bad decision. That dish wasn’t just popular — it was a signature item that kept large groups like ours returning week after week. It's like BURGER KING removing the Whopper and McDonald's removing the Big Mac. I personally know at least 15 families who stopped going entirely because the Barbacoa Fries pulled pork appetizer were taken off the menu. If you're trying to save a buck removing this staple item was a huge mistake. Our visit yesterday confirmed that the food quality has declined sharply. The nachos had no real chicken — just tiny canned‑tasting pieces with no flavor. The egg rolls were dry, clearly frozen, and tasted nothing like a freshly prepared appetizer. For a brand built on fun, energy, and crowd‑pleasing food, this was a major disappointment. I’m in my 50s and spent years working for Zagat Survey in NYC, so I’m speaking from professional experience. The issues weren’t subtle — they were obvious failures in freshness, execution, and quality control. The one bright spot was Molly, our bartender/server. She apologized sincerely for the food and did everything she could to assist us. Her professionalism was the only redeeming part of the visit. She made really good Mocktails. Thank you. On top of that, our entire crew are big beer and cocktail drinkers — real spenders — and every couple has teenagers who love arcades. But now they go to Apex instead. If corporate thinks losing $100–$350 per couple on food, drinks, and game cards doesn’t matter, they’re mistaken. That’s a massive amount of revenue walking out the door. I’m not a big review guy, but maybe this will get through to you. I hope corporate is reading this. Tighten up your ship — it’s a mess right now. Make us want to come back. My partner was thinking of renting a large venue room for the annual company holiday party around 110 guests and is really worried about the food now. Unless the kitchen standards improve and the menu brings back items that actually built customer loyalty — like the Barbacoa pulled pork this location risks losing the very crowd that kept it thriving for years.
