I came in to get a CAVA bowl on my lunch and there were maggots in my food!!! I tried to talk to a manager and they told me to leave and to never come back . No fixing it no apology no refund!! Please do not eat here, I’ve seen what they do to our food. They don’t prep right they leave everything out to get stale , there are flies everywhere!! Employees are really rude. The managers are horrible and lazy. The employees smoke outside and then come back to make your food without washing their hands . I thought maybe it’s just one bad experience until I experienced it myself again for the third time. I even tried speaking to someone about the misconduct I think Rose is here name. Rose is super rude disrespectful and very racist. She told me I should be lucky I even get to eat here. This food will make you sick please do not eat here. Make them make your fresh food infront of you because if not I can guarantee it’s not fresh at all.

I appreciated the quick and healthy options available here. The staff were super friendly and welcoming and the food was tasty and fresh. I liked the new salmon option that they didn’t have the last time I came in.

I got sick after eating here. The workers were using the same gloves to clean and touch the food. Yesterday the girl working did this. I should’ve said something because not I feel so sick. It was a waste of 20 dollars. The food wasn’t hot and did not taste fresh at all. I hate wasting money.

Made a pickup order through the app last night scheduled for today around noon, but had an unexpected appointment come up that prevented me from picking up my order until about 9. Very disappointed to find out after the order was placed a whole day ago that I can't cancel an online order, even though I made it so far ahead of time. The app didn't give me that disclaimer until I had to look it up AFTER paying up, really annoying and dishonest. The employees at Pembroke did right by me, though. I called early in the afternoon today begging them to not throw it out cuz I would pick it up in the evening, and they made a note of it and reassured me I'd be able to pick it up when I finished up work late in the evening. Lo and behold, when I show up late at night like I told them, the food is there in a bag, marked "do not toss." I would've been content with taking that home, but then the manager Rosee was willing to have the order the remade for me so that I wouldn't have to take home old food! Rosee and Nate happily remade the order for me, and I'm so grateful for the two of them. Because of those two, I'm willing to fork over money to Cava again in the future.
