This is a follow-up to my previous review. I reached out as requested, but no follow-up was ever completed. This reflects a clear lack of professionalism, accountability, and care from the appropriate administrative and management team. A customer concern should not be acknowledged publicly and then ignored privately. Very disappointing experience.

The restaurant is quite beautiful and offers a lovely ambiance. The staff members were friendly and knowledgeable, providing excellent suggestions. We ordered the lobster bisque, and while it tasted wonderful, it appeared to be lacking in lobster pieces. Perhaps a few chunks would have enhanced the experience, as it was primarily broth. Our server, who was very friendly, presented the dessert menu without prior inquiry or request during our meal, which made us feel a bit rushed. She also had the check prepared for presentation without asking if we desired anything further. Aside from these minor points, everything else was satisfactory, and the food was indeed delicious.

I love Bravo so much!! The food is always amazing and the waiters are too! My favorites are the ceasar salad(it’s always fresh and crisp and the first thing to be eaten lol), shrimp napoli, and the shrimp & lobster fettuccine. They give you enough portions for everything. It’s right in the middle of town center, so you can do a lot after eating or before dining in with them. I wish they would open one in Chesapeake, but I don’t mind making the drive to Virginia Beach because it’s always a great time! The design of the restaurant is beautiful as well!

The food at Bravo deserves genuine praise — it was delicious and I have zero complaints there. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for the service, which was frankly unacceptable and left a lasting bad impression. During my lunch visit today (between 1–2 PM), our server demonstrated a complete lack of interest in attending to our table. His attitude was dismissive and unwelcoming from the moment we sat down — not the kind of hospitality you expect at a sit-down restaurant. The most glaring issue: he never brought us bread. When we pointed this out, he claimed bread is only served upon request — a policy I find hard to believe and that was never communicated to us. More importantly, he never once stopped by to check whether we were doing okay, whether we needed anything, or whether we were enjoying our meal. We were essentially invisible to him. At one point, we had to flag down a different server just to get water and bread — basic essentials that should have been proactively handled by our own server. Good food can carry a meal, but poor service can destroy the entire experience — and it did here. I hope management takes a closer look at how guests are being treated during the lunch shift, because this level of inattentiveness is not acceptable.

I was really excited to try this restaurant because I LOVE Italian food & have been eyeing their menu for a while, but boy was this visit a HUGE disappointment. I arrived a little after 5:30pm to catch the happy hour so I sat at bar. The bartender greeted me upon my entry & took no time getting my wine & appetizer put in. Fresh glass of wine & fresh calamari are brought out first. Everything was good so far. Until I ordered my entree. I got the chicken Parmesan with a side Caesar salad. About 2 minutes later the salad comes out. Lettuce was a little brown in some pieces & they had a lot of the stalk chopped up from the romaine, making it a little hard to enjoy the actual lettuce. Then not even 10 mins after that my entree comes out. Now once he presented it to me I immediately noticed there was no steam coming from my plate & it looked like it had been sitting there. So I said something to him about that & at first he agreed with me that it came out really fast, then he said he would go check with the kitchen. He then comes back to tell me that my food was indeed fresh & that it was transferred to another dish so that’s why it may seem like it wasn’t hot or looked fresh. I was confused & honestly baffled by his response & asked if they could just remake it because again it still didn’t seem like it was fresh. About 10 mins later someone from the kitchen brought out the dish, this time “heated up”, & assured me that the food was fresh initially but the “new” chef in the back isn’t yet comfortable with working with hot plates from the oven. I was just so disappointed because I feel like they played in my face about my food & as a paying customer I expect the food quality to be fresh & up to par at all times. I tried my best to enjoy the meal but it was not enjoyable. The sauce lacked seasoning or any kind or flavor, the chicken wasn’t juicy & dried out, & the entire dish didn’t have nearly enough sauce as it should have, I couldn’t finish it. Just like I couldn’t finish the salad. The best part of my meal was the wine. Also the bartender seemed to have an attitude with me after I complained about the quality of my food, which is very rude because my frustration wasn’t with him but with the kitchen itself. He didn’t ask me if everything was okay or if I needed anything until I stopped touching my food, then he also didn’t thank me for dining or anything along the lines of that yet I watched him say this to 2 previous guests at the bar who departed shortly before I did. Just seemed like he no longer wanted to service me. Mind you I spent over $60 & I tipped 18%. I shouldn’t have tipped because of this but I don’t return negative energy into the world. This for sure wasn’t a good overall experience for me, I don’t know if I’ll be returning to this spot ever. Crossing this off my places to go to in VB.
