- WTWes Thurman4 days ago2.0First, let me say that Bojangles has been my favorite fast food chicken place for many years. But this particular restaurant let me down. I ordered at the drive-thru and took my food home. 1. I ordered a 3 piece meal (2 thighs ( my favorite piece) and a leg), as always. What did I get? Two legs and 1 thigh. :( (BTW, This happens often across the Bojangles chain even though the menu board/sign, clearly states 2 thighs and a leg.) 2. The chicken was way over-cooked; not burnt, but cooked so hard that it (the breading) shattered as I tried the chew it. :( This experience won't turn me away from Bojangles, as a whole, but I'll think twice before returning here.

I've given this location multiple chances throughout the years and something always goes wrong. Especially the entire staff that was working around 8:30PM Monday, 6/15/26. I pulled to the window after placing my order through the automated system in the drive thru and there was a woman standing right there with the window open, blatantly ignoring me and she seemed to be purposely preoccupied so she wouldn't have to help me. Sat there for literally 5 minutes before she said anything and that was just to tell me my total. No pleasantries. Had to ask for my receipt, which seemed to be a monumental task with the eye roll I got. Meanwhile the 5 minutes I was sitting there, there was no one inside the restaurant as the inside was apparently already closed...which I'll get to, the staff working in the kitchen weren't in any hurry to make my food or make it correctly. They were goofing off and being extremely loud and unprofessional considering, again, the window was wide open the whole time. After the 5 minutes, they got one more customer in the drive thru line and the woman asked me to pull to the door. I timed it after that. I had to wait another 15 minutes (20 altogether now) for a sausage (that was a burnt briquette), egg and cheese biscuit, a regular egg and cheese biscuit (which they made with a bun...), a large macaroni and cheese (which tasted like plastic), and old/reheated/stale Bo Rounds. And when one of the men that worked there brought my order out, he literally didn't say a word to me, just hit my bag against my cracked window instead of saying "excuse me" or anything. And while I was checking my food, another customer walked up to ALSO complain that his family had just ordered there the previous night (which was when I found out the inside was closed, because the man that shoved my bag at my car wouldn't let the man in). Didn't realize all the errors with my food until I got home and I'm so frustrated that it took THAT LONG to get OLD/BURNT/OVERCOOKED food and that it cost me $22 for two "biscuits", some mac and cheese, and bo rounds. Absolutely ridiculous. I worked in fast food for a long time and I've definitely seen some things, but all those things combined was truly pathetic. So thank you Bojangles of Holland Rd. for taking my money and not being courteous enough to make my order correctly.

They loudly asked their friends if they wanted free food while the girl was on tiktok live. My wife went in to ask was this generosity extended to everyone and they told her no. It felt discriminatory and humiliating, mostly because the friends and workers started laughing as she left out. Very bad experience and poor customer service
