I have been here many time since the pre opening.
The drinks have been lackless and not as flavorful as other 7brews I have been too.
A few times the drinks weren’t the best and I know they will fix it but the lines were so long I didn’t want to be that person. We also have ordered sugar free many times as well and we can tell the drink WAS NOT sugar free. Yes again busy and probably didn’t pay attention to details but not an excuse.
We have also noticed the spark everyone had has faded and that was something that was asked in the interview to hire people.
Overall I can see the good changes but they still have a ways to go. Oh and the lines are still not the greatest.

I would like to say the drinks are amazing and they aren’t the problem. The problem was the girl directing traffic. Some people shouldn’t be put in positions that they can’t do. I turned into the drive through (the lane closest to the road) and she made me back up and go to the end behind the other drive thru line which was about 10 cars. Mind you there are two lanes. Once I got to the other end of the other line, I saw other cars pulling into the lane closer to the road (the one I was pulling into). Me and other cars became frustrated because you can’t let people in automatically before people who have been waiting. She then states how that line was for the people coming from the road. That was exactly what I was doing. So instead of going in line behind a few cars, she was making me and multiple cars go to the opposite lane behind 10-15 cars, then letting in people from the road ahead of us who were waiting in line. I didn’t catch her name but she has red tinted hair.
My server was very nice it did take a good amount of time to get my drinks but that’s not a big deal to me talking with my server I found out the workers do not get tipped out unless they pass a 100 question barista quiz I tried to give my server a cash tip and she told me she would be fired if she took it I think that is absolutely unacceptable with how busy this store gets I’m sure they get an easy 500 in tips alone she told me that only one person was able to get tips that shift because they were the only one that passed the test even though everyone else got an 80 or so that one person was the only one to get tips which is completely unfair the store gets so busy and having been a barista myself once I know how ugly customers can be they deserve better then this

I come to 7Brew every single day. Not “a lot.” Not “pretty often.” Every. Single. Day. I’m addicted. So trust me when I say I really do love 7Brew.
That being said… today was a mess.
Apparently today was “jackpot” day, which I completely understand is going to mean an insane amount of traffic. What I don’t understand is having absolutely NO ONE directing traffic when the line is that chaotic.
I got into a line with several other cars, and we sat there for 25 minutes. We didn’t cut anyone. We didn’t try to skip the line. We weren’t being difficult. We made the very reasonable assumption that the line we were in was for the left lane. Apparently, we were wrong.
It turns out BOTH 7Brew lanes were supposed to come from one single line that stretched all the way out toward Rosemont and was blocking traffic on the main road. Cool. Except… that seems unnecessarily dangerous for your costumers. There was nobody outside directing traffic, no clear indication of where the line was supposed to go, and multiple cars made the exact same assumption we did.
Then an employee came outside and told us we had to go to the back of the line.
I would have completely understood being redirected if someone had simply explained the situation. What I did NOT appreciate was the attitude. She was incredibly rude to me and the other customers, as if we had intentionally cut the line or done something wrong.
I understand being overwhelmed, frustrated, that Jackpot day was probably absolute chaos for the employees. But your customers cannot be expected to magically know how you want traffic to flow when nobody is there to direct them. And getting rude with customers because of a traffic-management issue that could have been prevented with one employee standing outside directing cars is not the answer.
I’m still giving 7 Brew the benefit of the doubt because, again, I literally come here every day and normally have nothing but good things to say. But this location seriously needs to work on traffic control for big promotional days—and maybe a little training on how to communicate with customers when things go sideways.
Because being told to go to the back of the line after sitting there for 25 minutes is frustrating enough.
Being treated like I was the problem when the line was poorly managed? That’s what really rubbed me the wrong way.
I definitely will be avoiding on “jackpot” days because a Nee-Doh or some stickers is NOT worth it. To Starbucks I go. ✌🏼
I’m extremely disappointed with my experience at this new 7 Brew location. I’ve been to multiple other 7 Brew locations and have always had such positive experiences, which is why this one was so surprising.
I was excited to see that the app now allows you to order ahead, and when I placed my order, the app specifically showed the walk-up window as available. Since I had walked to the location and did not have a car to use the drive-thru, I went to the walk-up window and waited about 10–15 minutes without anyone acknowledging me.
Eventually, an employee came over and told me they were no longer serving customers at the walk-up window. I politely explained that the app was still showing it as available and showed her my phone. She pointed to a very small handwritten/cardboard sign near the drive-thru stating that the walk-up window was closed and asked me, with what felt like a lot of attitude, who had told me it was open. Again, I showed her that it was coming directly from the 7 Brew app.
What was most disappointing was that my order had already been placed and completed through the app, and I was still charged for it. Despite explaining that I had walked there and had no way to go through the drive-thru, I was simply told they couldn’t serve me. There didn’t seem to be any attempt to find a solution, ask another employee for assistance, refund the order, or even offer a gift card or another way to make up for the inconvenience. I ultimately left without the drinks I had already paid for.
I completely understand that this is a new location and that there will be growing pains while the team gets into a routine. I’m usually very understanding about things like that. However, the lack of communication and the way the situation was handled made the experience especially disappointing. While I was waiting, I also felt uncomfortable with the way some of the other employees were looking at me rather than simply asking if I had been helped.
I really hope this feedback is taken into consideration with future training. One of the reasons I enjoy 7 Brew is because the other locations I’ve visited have always had such friendly, upbeat energy and great customer service. I would love to see this new location eventually reflect that same experience. Unfortunately, this visit fell very far short of what I’ve come to expect from 7 Brew.
